How can we
help you?

Getting started

Open Dorry, search for a nearby venue or scan their QR code at the entrance. Tap "Join Queue" and you'll instantly receive your position number and an estimated wait time. That's it — go do something useful while you wait.

Yes, a quick sign-up is required so Dorry can track your queue position and send you notifications. It only takes your name and email — no payment info, no long forms.

Completely free for all users. Download, join queues, and skip the wait — no subscriptions, no hidden fees, no ads.

Queue & notifications

Dorry sends a push notification when you're close to the front. You can set your notification preference (5 min, 2 min, or right before) in the app settings. Make sure notifications are enabled under iOS Settings → Dorry → Notifications.

Yes — that's exactly the point. Once you've joined, go grab a coffee, run an errand, or sit down nearby. Return when notified. Just make sure you're within walking distance when your turn approaches, as there's a short check-in window.

If you miss the check-in window, you'll be placed at the end of the queue or removed, depending on the venue's settings. You can always re-join. We recommend keeping notifications enabled and staying nearby as you approach the front.

You can view multiple queues, but you can only hold an active spot in one queue at a time per venue type. This ensures fair access for everyone.

Account & privacy

Go to Settings inside the app → Account → Delete Account. All your data will be permanently removed within 30 days. You can also contact us via the form and we'll handle it manually within 24 hours.

No. Dorry only uses your location when the app is open and only to show nearby venues. We never run location tracking in the background. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

Troubleshooting

First, try force-quitting and reopening the app. If it continues, delete and reinstall from the App Store (your account and queue history are saved). If the problem persists, contact us via the form with your device model and iOS version.

Check iOS Settings → Dorry → Notifications and ensure "Allow Notifications" is on. Also check that Do Not Disturb / Focus mode isn't blocking alerts. If all settings look correct, try logging out and back in from the app.

The venue may not yet be using Dorry. You can suggest it by contacting us — we'll reach out to the business directly. Alternatively, ask the venue to get in touch with us to join the Dorry network.
