Privacy Policy

01 Information We Collect

We collect the minimum necessary to provide the queue management service:

• Account information — Your name and email address when you register.
• Location data — General location while the app is open, to surface nearby venues. Never in the background.
• Queue activity — Records of queues you join and your position history, so you can track your status.
• Device information — Device type, iOS version, and push notification tokens required to deliver alerts.

02 How We Use Your Information

• To operate and improve the Dorry queue management service.
• To send push notifications when your turn is approaching.
• To display nearby venues and their live queue status.
• To diagnose and resolve technical issues.
• To respond to your support requests.

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond what is listed here.

03 What We Do Not Collect

• Payment or financial information
• Background location data
• Contacts, photos, or camera access
• Browsing history or cross-app activity
• Biometric data of any kind

We do not embed third-party advertising SDKs or analytics that exfiltrate data to external parties.

04 Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal data to any third party. Data is shared only in these limited cases:

• With venues — Your first name and queue position are shared with the venue you've joined so they can serve you. Nothing else.
• Legal requirements — If compelled by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of our users.

05 Data Retention

Your account data is retained for as long as your account is active. Queue history is retained for 90 days and then automatically deleted. You can request complete deletion of your data at any time — we'll process it within 30 days.

06 Security

All data in transit is encrypted using TLS 1.3. Data at rest is encrypted using AES-256. Access to production systems is restricted to authorized personnel only, with audit logging on all access events.

No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We take reasonable measures to protect your data, but cannot guarantee absolute security.

07 Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct any inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your account and all associated data
• Withdraw consent and stop using the service at any time
• Receive a copy of your data in a portable format

08 Children's Privacy

Dorry is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us data without parental consent, we will delete it promptly. If you believe your child has submitted data to us, please contact us immediately.

09 Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For material changes, we'll notify you via the app or email. Continued use of Dorry after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
